Terms and Conditions

The Site is operated by Petiotes ("we"). By using, accessing, browsing, registering or placing an order on this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw the website or these Terms and Conditions without providing prior notice. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.
The contents of these pages (including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, text written and other materials) are the copyright of Petiotes. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. The copying, modification, distribution, reproduction, or incorporation into any other work of part or all of the material available on this website in any form is prohibited and is at your own risk.

 

1. Orders

The Customer commits to give the requested information with accuracy and sincerity when he places an order.
We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time for some of the following reasons, or any others, at our sole discretion:

  • If the order for personalised products contains reference to any programme judge, host , artist or any matter or person identified and protected by any Licensors, Trademarks or Copyrights.

  • If your order for personalised products contains content which is threatening, obscene, abusive, in breach of privacy or which may cause any annoyance or inconvenience.

Once the order is confirmed, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving the goods. However, this does not apply to items which we have made, personalised or customised specifically for you. If you still wish to cancel your personalised order, we recommend you to send an email to contact@petiotes.com as soon as possible, checking the status of the order and the possible actions we can propose. If the order of a personalised product has already been processed, it is then impossible to cancel its order. The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.
Where goods have already been dispatched to you, the goods must be returned to us in accordance with the 'Returns and exchange' section below.

2. Product conformity

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct. However, the colour of the product you receive may not match the colour as displayed by our website on your computer monitor. Please be aware that if colour is important to you, your order is placed at your own risk.
We can propose free colour samples upon request (3 samples of colours in one single delivery).
Although we are sure you will agree that most children just love our products, we must emphasise that they are not toys and should be treated with care.
Please note that we also reserve the right to brand your personalised products on our website.

3. Pricing

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.
Our prices are reviewed periodically, and they don’t include delivery fee.
Petiotes is very happy to propose gift wrapping.  This service costs £2.99. If you wish to include a message, please email us the text, quoting your order number at contact@petiotes.com or during the checkout. Sadly the cushions are just too big to be gift wrapped ! 

 

4. Payment

We accept payment by PayPal, which is safe and easy to use. You don’t have to be a member of PayPal to use this service. You may pay for your order using the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and other cards accepted by Paypal. All transactions are processed in £ Sterling.
 

5. Delivery

We will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address which you give for delivery when you make your order. If any of the details you have given us in your delivery address are incorrect, we are not liable for any items which have not been received. We only use “signed for” delivery service in order to be able to track the packets.  Once the goods have been signed for at the delivery address, all risk if damage to, or loss of the goods shall pass to you.
We aim to process the orders and dispatch  in 1 to 3 working days for the non-personalised goods; and  up to 7-10 working days for the items made, personalised or customised specifically for you.
If you need a speedy delivery for a personalised product, please let us know when you place your order and we will be pleased to do our best to satisfy you.
If, for some reason the goods are out of stock, we will inform you of the expected delay immediately.
 
Petiotes is mostly using The Royal Mail.

  • Delivery within the UK and NI is a fixed-fee of £ 2.99 and is free when you spend over £40.

  • Delivery within Europe is a fixed-fee of £9.95

  • Delivery within the USA & Canada is a fixed-fee of £25.95

  • Delivery for the Rest of the World is a fixed-fee of £25.95

 
For deliveries outside the UK and Europe, the Customer undertakes to pay all product importation taxes as well as any other tax due according to the law of the country in which the delivery is received.
The customer has to check the content of the delivery. If need, he must express his claim for non conformity or obvious defect of the delivered products, within 48 hours after the delivery, by registered mail, with all the related proofs.
If the Customer does not make any reservation in this delay, it will mean that he agrees on the product conformity to his order.
 

6. Returns and exchange

If you are not happy with your product, please let us know immediately at the following e-mail address contact@petiotes.com quoting your Order Reference No, and we will discuss the different ways to satisfy you.
Customers have a retraction time of 7 working days, starting upon delivery of the product. Any return will be done at the customer’s expense and in the condition it was at delivery, the product must not have been used, dirtied, washed or damaged. The buyer must return the product in its original packaging. When returning items we recommend that you obtain a proof of posting from any Post Office as proof of postage, as we are unable to accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. We will send you the correct replacement or, if you prefer, a full refund will take place within 30 days at the most after the reception of the product return (excluding the return shipping cost)
Your rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:
     - Any products that we have made, personalised or customised specifically for you 
     - Where, in our opinion, you have not taken reasonable care of goods whilst in your possession and have not been returned with the original        packaging.
     - If you have made a spelling mistake on your order and it has been sent for production.
     - You have disposed of the item you have an issue with
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you return an item because of an error on our part, or because it is defective, we will happily refund the full value of the item, or send you the correct replacement if you prefer.
The address for returns to be asked prior to return any items.
